Author: Archibald Manuel Dunn (1863–1925)
Biography: Archibald Manuel Dunn was born in 1863 in Newcastle, the son of architect Archibald J. Dunn and Sara Armstrong. He attended Stonyhurst and practiced as an architect. He was a writer on bridge and sports in addition to fiction. In 1900, he married Madeline Bertha and the couple had at least one son. He died on 26 July 1925 in London.
