Author: Lady Caroline Eliot (1799–1866)

Biography: Lady Caroline Georgiana Eliot was born on 27 July 1799 in St. Germans, the daughter of William, 2nd Earl of St. Germans and his first wife Lady Georgina Leveson-Gower. Left an annuity of £400 by her father's will. Late in life, she "edited" the novel What Can It Be? (1862). She died on 22 April 1866 at Bognor.
