Author: Theophilus Woolmer (1815–1896)

Biography: Theophilus Woolmer was born in 1815, the son of Wesleyan minister Samuel Woolmer. Woolmer attended the Kingswood School where he later served as governor and chaplain. His only fiction, How it was done at Stow School (1862), is based on his boyhood days there in the 1820s. As a Wesleyan minister himself, he traveled widely throughout England. He died on 27 December 1896 at him home in Worthing.
