Biography: Mercy Mary Grogan was born in 1827 in St. Giles, the daughter of Thomas Adams. In 1847, she married William Grogan. She wrote a single novel The Roua Pass: or, Englishmen in the Highlands (1857) under the pseudonym "Erick Mackenzie." She died in 1868 in Windsor. Note: identified in the Smith, Elder accounts.
