Biography: Harriet Lydia Stevenson was born in 1827, the daughter of the Rev. Charles Butler Stevenson and his first wife Harriet Graham. Through her father, she was a (second?) cousin of William Makepeace Thackeray. She wrote two novels. In 1866 she married William Fitzmaurice Josiah Hort in Callan, Kilkenny. She died four years later in 1870.
