Author: Robert French Wallace (1841–1906)
Biography: Robert French Algernon Wallace was born in 1841 in Broadwater by Worthing, Sussex, the eldest son of Thomas French Wallace and member of an old Scottish family. He lived in London and worked as a wine merchant. In 1873, he wrote his only novel, A Life's Destiny, a romance which seems to have made no mark on the public. Relatively late in life, in his fifties, he married. Wallace died in 1906.
