Author: Noell Radecliffe

Author: Noell Radecliffe (birth and death dates unknown)

Alternate Name(s): (pseudonym)

Biography: The name is clearly a pseudonym. Besides the eight novels listed here, Radecliffe also wrote the poetic drama St. Katharine of Alexandria (1859) and was a frequent contributor to Notes and Queries between 12 August 1865 and 20 March 1875. In one query, he gives his address as 141, Hampstead Road, London which was the home and business address of stationer Richard J. Blake. In all probability, Radecliffe used the address as a convenient local contact rather than his own address. Otherwise, this author cannot be traced.
