Author: Andrew Oswald Acworth (1857–1895)
Biography: Andrew Oswald Acworth was born in 1857 in Plumstead, Kent, the fourth son of Rev. William Acworth. He attended Winchester and Exeter College, Oxford, before being called to the bar. He worked as a judge in Calcutta from 1886 to 1889. In 1890, he married Ellinor Mary Wilsone. He died suddenly in 1895 at Clifton. He wrote the single novel A New Eden (1896) before his death. NB: The attribution of this title is probable, but not certain.
