Biography: Beulah Kezia Hanson was born on 11 July 1815 in Coventry, the daughter of independent minister John Eagleton and his wife Elizabeth. In 1841, she married James Hanson of Huddersfield who went on to be the ower and editor of the Bradford Review. The couple had at least four children. In addition to two poetry collections (1848, 1868), Hanson wrote two locally-published novels. She died on 2 July 1888 in Bradford.
