Biography: Anna Louisa Chisholm was born in 1824 in London, the daugher of merchant William Bell and his wife Elizabeth. In 1859, she married civil servant Henry Williams Chishom of the Exchequer and the couple had four children. She wrote just the single book as far as can be determined. She died on 30 July 1900 in London. Note: author identified in the John Murray Archive.
