Author: Charlotte Atcherley (1818–1891)

Biography: Charlotte Atcherley was born in 1818 in Newton Abbot, Devon, the daughter of Rowland Atcherley and Eliza Oliver. Her early life cannot be traced. She never married. Relatively late in life, she wrote a single novel, Cords and Discords (1880), which the Academy declared "a very odd book." She died a decade later in 1891.
