Author: John Munro (1849–1930)

Biography: John Munro was born in 1849 in Rossshire, Scotland. He studied at the Trade and Mining School, Bristol, where he afterwards became a lecturer. He later became an professor of mechanical and mining engineering at Bristol University. He wrote several works on electricity and two novels. He retired from teaching in 1919 and died in 1930.
