Biography: Diana Digby Lloyd was born on 8 February 1848 in Washington, Sussex, the fourth daughter of Sir Harry Dent Goring and his second wife Mary Elizabeth (née Lewis). On 1870, she married Captain W. Digby Lloyd of the 67th regiment and the couple had one daughter. Lloyd wrote just the single nove, Arnold Leigh (1880). Her husband died in 1883 and she remarried in 1887 to Anthony John Wright Biddulph. She died on 16 February 1931 in London.
