Author: James Harris Brighouse (1845–1915)

Biography: James Harris Brighouse was born in 1845 in Holywell, Flintshire. His early life cannot be traced. By 1871, he worked as a merchant in Lancashire and later as a commission agent. He married Elizabeth Cathcart and had at least one daughter. He found time to write the occassional novel with his last published in 1910. He died on 25 March 1915 in Southport.
