Biography: Mabel Mary Holland Grave was born in 1861 in Wales, the daughter of retired ship captain Lewis Holland Thomas of Caerffynnon and his second wife. She wrote two books, the novel Fraternity (1888) and the memoir Some Welsh Children (1898). She married the French anarchist Jean Grave and moved to Paris. She died there on 17 January 1929.
