Biography: Hannah Sant Martin Lanyon was born on 10 October 1872 in Landaff, Wales. In 1895, she married Alfred Lanyon Martin Lanyon and the couple had one daughter. She wrote two novels, Sarah, P. G. (1900) and The Married Bachelor (1906). According to the census, she was also an artist. After her husband's death, she lived in Brighton where she died in 1953.
