Author: William Francis Collier (1831–1904)

Biography: William Francis Collier was born in 1831 in Dublin. He attended Trinity College, Dublin earning a B. A. (1853) and a LL. D. (1860). Collier wrote popular works of history as well as two works of fiction. In addition, he worked at a school in Glasgow then thirty years as the English master at the Belfast Royal Academy. He died on 25 November 1904 in Belfast.
