Author: George Robert Wynne (1838–1912)
Biography: George Robert Wynne was born in 1838, the son of George Wynne. He attended Trinity College Dublin before being ordained in the Church of Ireland. He served as the rector of Killarney from 1880 to 1904. He married Ellen Lees Smith and the couple had several children. In addition to his clerical duties, he wrote fiction aimed at young adult readers. One source described him as "a mystic, more suited to study than the parish, though an excellent pastor." He died on 2 May 1912 at Glendalough.
