Author: Arthur Chandler (1859–1939)
Biography: Arthur Chandler was born on 25 March 1859, the son of clergyman J. Chandler of St. Leonards-on-Sea. He attended Marlborough and Oxford University before entering the Church of England. He eventurally served as Bishop of Bloemfontein (1903–1920). In addition to other works, he wrote the single novel. He died on 5 November 1939 in Petersfield.
