Author: Diana Louisa Macdonald (1822–1845)

Biography: Diana Louisa Macdonald was born on 4 November 1822 in London, the youngest daughter of merchant Alexander Macdonald. As a young woman, she wrote a historical novel Villa Verocchio about Leonardo Da Vinci. Sadly, she died age 22 years on 9 June 1845 in Paris. Her novel was published posthumously a few years later.
