Author: Charles William Herbert Kenrick (1850–1911)

Biography: Charles William Herbert Kenrick was born in 1850 in Walmer, Kent, the son of William Kenrick. He attended Brasenose College, Oxford (M.A. 1875) before being ordained. He held positions in Newbury and Reading. In 1879, he married Ethel Frances Gifford and the couple had three daughters. Prior to this, Kenrick wrote a historical novel Oswald (1875) but did not follow it up with another. He died on 13 May 1911 in Barnstaple.
